Please contact us if there are other questions you might have that are not answered here.
What are the lids made of?
The lids from Liplid are made from either a mixture of bamboo and bagasse or from pure wood fibers. In both cases the fibres are recyclable. Bamboo and bagasse are sourced in Asia and the wood fibres are sourced primarily from spruce and pine grown in Scandinavia and/or the Nordics.
Where are the lids produced?
Initially the lids are manufactured in China and by mid 2024 we will in addition to that also manufacture within the EU.
What sizes are the lids available in?
Currently we offer both 80 mm and the 90 mm lids.
The 80 mm lids are suitable for 8 oz cups and the 90 mm lids are suitable for 10, 12 and 16 oz cups.
Are the lids a sustainable choice?
Absolutely. The lids use approximately 25% less material than other fibre-based lids on the market depending on brand. Liplids lids are 100% plastic free, fully biodegradable and 100% recyclable.
